Hig leys Courage Rewarded CICERO, 111., May 14.— Showing that he has what it takes to become a real race rider, apprentice Jess Higley returned to the saddle to ride two winners after he was thrown during the running of the third race when his mount, Ration, stopped suddenly and pitched him over her head. The lad, not lacking in courage, came back in the fifth race to bring in the juvenile. Prince Puck, to victory. His next winner came when he piloted Wee Scot to victory in the seventh event. Both of his winners belonged to the same owner, Mrs. H. P. Bonner of Fort Worth, Texas. This gives the lad twenty-five winners for the first sixteen days of the current meeting. /
