ARROWTRACTION, well placed and a forward factor from the start, took command approaching the stretch, then withstood a brisk drive to retain his advantage. ALROSE, slow to begin, worked way up on the outside, then came determinedly in the final quarter, but could not reach the winner. PRINCE GALE, hard hustled early to gain a good position, faltered under punishment in the closing stages. HI WINNIE tired after racing forwardly placed for five-eighths. MISS NADI could not better her position when hard urged in the drive. BURSTON MANOR was never dangerous and had no excuses. WELLESLEY displayed brief early speed. JOHN THOMAS took com-• mand at once, raced well through the first half mile and retired. GO HOME was done early. SABRA, never far back, took command approaching the final turn and held on gamely thereafter, just missing. DISSENSION SIR came to the extreme outside entering the stretch and finished fast under punishment. AWAY, far back and outrun through the first half mile, passed tired horses in the final quarter. DEL-TOR MUSIC faltered after forcing the pace for five-eighths. QUERO GREENOCK was unable to better his position and had no excuses. MONKS MEMO, shuffled back in the opening quarter, failed to recover thereafter. HELLO ZAC quit after racing forwardly until inside the stretch. FOUR RINGS was done early. CAPTAIN RUTH, well handled, raced in closest pursuit of FEALTY for three eighths, took command when settled in the stretch and, after disposing of the latter, continued gamely to Withstand DISTANT LIGHT., The latter, on the outside throughout, came to the middle of the track for the drive and closed determinedly, just missing. FEALTY went to the front early, set the pace to the stretch under pressure from the winner, but failed to stay in the final stages. BALLA TRYST, shuffled back after the start, made up ground steadily thereafter and gave a good effort. K. SUGAR ROLL raced evenly to the last eighth, then faltered. EDIE JANE was unable to threaten and had no mishaps. SUGAR FAYE eave way after racing forwardly placed the first half mile. FAIRY O. could not keep up. LONG TRIP did not like the sloppy going. The latter, never far back, took a short lead when settled for the drive, held on well under punishment, but was not good enough for the winner. VALLEY BYRD raced to the front on the upper turn, but failed to retain his advantage under good handling. BLECHEL could not better his position and had no excuses. MARGE ADVICE failed to respond when called upon in the final quarter. WINWITHME began slowly and did not like the sloppy going. PLAID SOCKS could not keep up. FANCY FACE raced to the front before going three-sixteenths, but bolted on the upper turn and lost all chance. MELODY TONE went to the front toon after the start, established a good lead and easily maintained his advantage to the end without need of urging. HIGH VOTE, in hand the first kalf, responded readily when called upon, but could not menace the winner, although easily best of the others. HENRY HATTER, caught in a jam after the Start, worked his way up steadily to the final turn, but failed to better position thereafter. KITCHE MANITOU raced evenl yto the stretch, then tired. OVERSIGHT was never dangerous and did not like the sloppy track. MI-DUE, in tight quarters soon after the start, failed to recover. BROWN STREET forced the pace in the first half, then tired.
