Narragansett Directors Declare 50-Cent Dividend PAWTUCKET, R. I., May 14.— At a board of directors meeting, held Wednesday morning in the clubhouse at Narragansett Park and attended by a full board, it was voted to declare a dividend of 50 cents per share, to be paid out of the earnings from the spring meeting just concluded. The dividend will be payable on June 4 to stockholders of record as of May 21. The board approved and recommended the slate of officers that will be presented for re-election at the annual meeting of stockholders at 10 a. m. on June 15. Judge James E. Dooley was renominated as president, Albert H. Daly as vice-president, R. J. McMahon as secretary, Ernest H. Davison, treasurer, and Michael J. Regan, assistant treasurer. Three retiring directors, Charles A. Connors, Wilford Lamarine and William Smart appear on the slate for re-election for a period of three years. The board authorized corporations executive officers to proceed with arrangements for the summer meeting, August 10 to September 26, and approved the schedule of stake events presented. The board voted that the rebuilding of barn number four, which was destroyed by fire on April 14, be commenced immediately.
