Offer Fifty Head At Belmont Vendue Bleu dOr Among Horses Consigned to Fasig-Tipton Sale This Coming Friday NEW YORK, N. Y., May 15.— One of the largest sales of horses in training in recent years will be staged by the Fasig-Tipton Company at Belmont Park on Friday morning, May 22. Among the consignors of the fifty horses to be offered are George D. Widener, Walter Chrysler, Jr., Sanford Stud Farms, Mrs. J. G. Kaufman, John Hay Whitney, Brookmeade Stable, Green-tree Stable, M. Van Buren, Mrs. A. Schut-tinger and the Manhasset Stable. George D. Widener will sell six three-year-olds and two juveniles, the lot including the trio of three-year-old geldings. Squadron, Anytime and Equalize. John Hay Whitneys group of nine are all two-year-olds, while the eight in the Brookmeade Stable consignment include the five-year-old gelding, Romanov, by Ksar — Duration. Walter Chrysler has entered Bleu dOr in the vendue. The son of Blue Larkspur gained fame by his recent second behind Requested in the Wood Memorial.
