Ohio Notes BEULAH PARK, Columbus, Ohio, May 15. Despite rumors to the contrary, Helen B. Rickett, secretary of the state racing commission, reports that no application for dates have been received for a meeting at the Fort Miami track near Toledo. It was reported that the newly formed Toledo Jockey Club, of which Ben Hageborn is the head, contemplates a meeting at the Mau-mee city course. Al Smitha is shipping to W. J. Raybold the horse Saves Nine, an eligible to the Governors Handicap to be run here a week from Saturday. Part of the River Divide Farms horses will be sent to Detroit at the end of this week, to be followed later by the remainder of the stable. Several horses will be shipped to Toronto, Canada, following this meeting, including the stables of L. Clous and A. and D. Jardon. Word reached here that Charles "Chuck" Bang of Cleveland will man the public address system at Thistle Down, which opens on May 30. Col. Phil T. Chinn shipped Vantime, a three-year-old, to A. K. Miller to race at the Beulah Park meeting.
