OXFORD BLUE, in close attendance of the early pace, moved into command when ready to open a clear lead and continued wide with a slight margin. OVER moved into contention without urging, saved ground on the turn, then was unable to menace when put to a drive. KINGS FEAST weakened when challenged on the far turn, then held on gamely through the stretch. HO HUM, kept within striking distance early, had no excuse.
