Longden to Ride at Hollywood; Plans to Fly Own Airplane HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 30. — Jockey Johnny Longden, now in New York, will be here Monday, according to Basil Smith, who handles the riders engagements when he is on the West coast. Longden will begin accepting mounts at Hollywood Park on Tuesday. Smith also said that Longden is buying an airplane and after a period of instructions plans to do his own flying from point to point. He long has been a regular patron of the commercial air lines.
