Whitney May Sign Miller DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., May 30. — It has been learned from a reliable sourse that the contract which Brandywine Stable presently holds on apprentice Paul Miller, riding star of the current New York season, will be purchased by Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney. Miller rode his first winner during July of 1945 and has about a month and a half remaining to enjoy his apprentice allowance. Miller was a visitor here today but expects to return to New York when the deal for his contract Is consummated.
