LATE THREAD, taken back early, started up on the extreme outside after reaching the last five-eighths, reached the lead under mild urging after entering the stretch, veered to the inside approaching the last eighth and won with something in reserve. NICTOR, under steady restraint to the last quarter, came out entering the stretch and closed resolutely. FOUR TENS, far back to the last quarter, came strongly thereafter. CHERRY WINE weakened gradually after reaching the last quarter. WAR WISE was unable to improve her position while under good urging in the last quarter.
