Delaware Parks Investment in Good Will DELAWARE, Stanton, Del., June 6.— The two decisions concerning the horse Loudoun Boy in yesterdays eighth race ended up being a 1,987 investment in good will. The horse was legally a starter, and money need not have been refunded. When it was decided to refund any way, a mistake was made in the premature pushing of the "official" button before the mutuel department had been notified, or had a chance to recount the pool to make the allowance for the Loudoun Boy refund. To recall the red board would have made confusion and misunderstanding, so Delaware Park took the loss. There was 0,175 bet on Loudoun Boy straight; ,209 to place and ,603 to show, making a total of 1,987.
