Bonus Bill Passes Senate SPRINGFIELD, 111., June 6.— The Veterans Bonus Bill, with the movie tas x eliminated, passed the Senate here todas y by the unanimous vote of 49 to 0. The e measure, which calls for an increase of 4 4 per cent in the mutuel take at race tracks s for the purpose of defraying part of the e cost of the bonus, will go to the Assemblj y on Thursday, when the Democrats, whc o have opposed the proposals which are calculated to raise an estimated 85,000,000 , intend to fight the race track tax as wel 11 as the cigaret tax.
