HAPPY PAT, forwardly placed in the first quarter, moved up with a rush on the final turn, responded to pressure to wear down the leaders nearing the furlong pole, then drew out at the end. BUCK SERGEANT, outrun for a half mile, closed fast under stout handling when clear in the stretch. SUNSHADE, a forward factor, rallied mildly entering the stretch to assume a short lead, then faltered. ON MARCH was unable to get clear rounding the final turn, then finished with good courage. TRIPOS was under steady urging while improving position. XCITABLE weakened after forcing the pace to the final furlong. SURE SLEEPY quit after showing good speed the first quarter. JOHNSTOWN KID stumbled leaving the gate and never recovered. SPORTKING was well placed on the outside in the first quarter and was eased back when he went lame. ROYAL SILVER, kept close up under light urging to the final sixteenth, got up to nip BLUE WISE in the final strides. The latter, unable to secure racing room early, closed fast between horses in the stretch and displaced MAELINE, but was unable to deny the bid of the winner. CAIDS BEST, slow to begin, worked his way up on the outside to finish with a rush through the final furlong. MAELINE assumed command when TWO KICK ran out, held sway until nearing the sixteenth pole, then faltered. FREEBOY lost ground entering the stretch. EXPENDABLE was a forward factor on the inside, but weakened when put to a drive. NATS REWARD was unable to keep up. NEAT KEE had no mishap. CADMUS was caught in close quarters nearing the end of the backstretch and never recovered. TWO KICK showed speed from the beginning, began bearing out rounding the far turn and finished on the extreme outside with the rider easing his mount. EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won easily; second and third driving. LADY PHARA, showing good speed from the beginning, drew clear in the first quarter and raced slightly wide entering the stretch, then drew out to win with speed in reserve. AGHADEE moved up on the far turn, was forced wide entering the stretch, then was bothered when LITTLE SPOOKY swerved nearing the furlong pole, but recovered and finished with good energy. MAC FETCHIT was unable to reach the leaders under steady urging. BOXIE lost ground on the turn, then closed willingly in the final sixteenth. LITTLE SPOOKY forced the pace early, bore out on the turn, then swerved nearing the furlong pole. SUN DOGGIE quit. BATTLET showed nothing. ROMANTICIST dropped back after breaking alertly and was never a serious threat. FOURTH RACE 3-4 MILE out of chute. MAXIMONT, kept close to the pace on the outside, was sent into command rounding the far turn, drew clear under light urging and was in hand to the end. TYRONE, slow to settle in stride, came between horses in the final furlong under stout handling. LADYS ORPHAN, unable to reach the leaders in the first half mile, rallied mildly in the stretch. LUNCH DATE was sent up fast on the inside to take command in the first quarter and held on gamely under energetic handling, then weakened. KATHY was between horses throughout and failed to improve position under intermittent urging. SHOOT TO BOOT, forwardly placed for a half mile, rallied entering the stretch, then flattened out. SEA VICTORY had brief early speed. ELMO GRIER had no mishap. GLORIOUS SEC showed nothing. BULLDINGER retired steadily after the first quarter. MINTLOCK, well placed the first quarter, responded to pressure entering the stretch, wore down FOUR QUEENS leaving the furlong pole to draw out at the end. MAR DESPRIT closed fast under good handling while saving ground. FOUR QUEENS broke alertly, took command when TREASURE BOUND quit, then held on tenaciously. YAVAPAI was prominently placed throughout and closed gamely when able to secure racing room. CAN DOUBLE, in close quarters racing on the inside, got through at the head of the stretch and rallied mildly, but was unable to reach the leaders. QUILLON had no mishap. DOG TROT was devoid of early speed. LOST GOLD showed nothing. HEMDAY was outrun. TREASURE BOUND quit badly. SPANGLED GAME, under a tight hold while within striking distance of the pace, moved into contention with a rush on the outside, took command when straightened in the stretch and was ridden out to the end. FLOAT ME, a forward factor from the start, went wide entering the stretch, then rallied under inermitten punishmen to close wih good energy in the final sixteenth. ADONIS was sent to the front at once, came out clear on the first turn, was taken under light restraint, continued on well in hand to the stretch, then was shaken up, but weakened slightly in the drive. CHUCK saved ground enering the final furlong and showed a good effort. ST. JOCK was used up forcing the early pace and had nothing left for the drive. GOTHIC showed nothing. HER REPLY, under a tight hold for six furlongs, moved up with a rush to draw abreast of HO HUM at the sixteenth pole, then outfinished the latter under strong urging. HO HUM was under light restraint while following close behind the early pace, saved ground while moving to the leader and disposed of SIR KID leaving the furlong pole, but was unable to turn back the bid of the winner. SIR KID raced SPEED UP into submission after a half mile and drew clear, then held on gamely to deep in the stretch, then faltered. DISCOURAGED was never a serious threat. TURNTABLE, going easily under a tight hold for six furlongs, circled the field when called on, caught the leaders leaving the furlong post and drew out to win with speed in reserve. ROMAN ABBOT assumed command while saving ground on the first turn, was under stout restraint while maintaining a slight advantage to the stretch, then was roused and held on gamely. TEXALITE was forwardly placed throughout and had no excuse. GARDEN POT moved into contention after a half, made a determined bid rounding the far turn, then flattened out in the drive. SWEEPNACK was poorly handled rounding the turn into the back stretch and never recovered. CRAB APPLE was out un. CUTE EYE was under a stout hold while forcing the pace, then retired steadily and was not under pressure through the final furlong. Overweight— Texalite, 3 pounds. Turntable claimed by Mrs. W.
