RED PLUSH improved his position gradually, secured room on the inside entering the stretch, engaged GRANDCIAD in a stiff stretch duel and drew out slowly. GRANDCIAD, permitted to settle into stride, moved up quickly on the outside on the turn, took a short lead in the stretc hand hung on stubbornly. TURKEY FOOT, crowded back between horses on the back-stretch, closed stoutly when clear. VALDINA SECRET closed a good gap from a slow beginning. ON BOARD had early speed, but weakened. BIG BOZO, away fastest, was forced to race on the outside all the way and was up in the final strides under hard urging in a good effort. EVER-PLAYFUL was slow to settle into best stride, moved up quickly through the stretch and iust failed to get up. SNAPPY VERSE, a stout contender between horses all the way, held on well. BALLACOLAS went to the front on the inside in the backstretch, saved ground and continued stoutly. KHAYYAMS KID raced with the leaders between horses in the backstretch, but weakened slightly. DONERO, away fastest, was not hurried when JUST FLIP took a long lead, took a short lead on the outside on the turn and, continuing on the outside, withstood a long drive by PRANCING TED. The latter, prominent from the beginning, saved ground while racing with the winner and just failed to get up. BEAUTICIAN improved her position gradually on the outside and finished with a bold rush. DIER BALLA raced prominently from the beginning and moved up threateningly through the stretch, but hung. HAIRAN BEST, slow to settle in stride, finished fast.
