Kin of Late Harry Williams Working at Monmouth Park MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J.. June 19. Admirers of the late Harry Williams, who was with Daily Racing Form for many years, will be pleased to learn that his son, Bill, and his son-in-law, Phil Baker, are members of Mort Mahonys mutuel staff at Monmouth Park. Baker, who is major domo of the money room, served in the TJ. S. Navy for approximately two and a half years, seeing considerable action during that period. He is one of two men in a group of 50 who survived a Jap suicide raid in his section of the SS Randolph, an aircraft carrier. The "attacks" he now has to withstand come from cashiers and sellers who require more money. Baker reports that it took a "ton and a half of silver" to get things rolling in his department today. Bill Williams, recently discharged from the TJ. S. Marines, after three years, during which he participated in several historic Pacific battles. His Monmouth assignment is the first since he donned "civvies."
