DARBY DABBIE, a prominent factor from the beginning, was sent through on the inside rounding the stretch turn and, under pressure, outlasted IMA FASTONE. The latter, on the outside all the way, closed steadily and was wearing the winner down. CROW-FLIGHT showed a good effort and held on well to the end. WINDOW SHOPPER raced evenly throughout. FORFAR, on the inside and under steady restraint, saved ground when the leaders bore out on the stretch turn, but could not menace the winner. PICKPOCKET, on the outside, came between horses entering the stretch and finished well. EAST LIGHT had early speed, but faltered in the stretch.
