Illinois Notes J ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 19. The Lincoln Fields meeting closed with 33 horses on the veterinarians list, it was announced by Dr. M. F. Kent, State Veterinarian. L. D. Glasser is shipping Signals Bloke. Rocket Shell and Double Duty to the Monmouth Park track in New Jersey. R. Cutro purchased the six-year-old mare, Patruska, from H. Tikulski and turned her over to Robert D. Jackson to train. The services of Larney Hansman have been obtained to ride one of the two-year-olds trained by William Crump in the Hyde Park Stakes Saturday. Jockey Frankie Truschka arrived from Fairmount Park and will ride out the remainder of the meeting. W. Boganowski purchased the plater Air Borne from H. Tikulski. Al Gaal, secretary and treasurer of the Central Division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, reported that the 1 per cent of the purses turned over to that organization by horsemen during the Lincoln Fields meeting amounted to ,334. J. C. Ellis, prominent sportsman who races a string of horses under the care of W. C. Weant and who operates the Dade Park track, was an arrival for an extended stay. Frank Podesta, who arrived yesterday from his home in Memphis, plans to remain for several weeks. Trainer Howard Wells took over Colonel Don for B. G. Collins, and Little Sphinx and Artistic Rose for Ira Drymon. A. C. Thompson left for his home at Paducah, Ky., and took the horse, M. C. Cabe, with him. John L. Keeshin, president of Sportsmans Park, was among the visitors here yesterday. Phil Reilly arrived with the two-year-old Sun Sleep from Fairmount Park and turned him over to Raymond White to train. William Veeneman, who owns several horses who are in charge of Warren Gayle Douglass, will be here Saturday.
