Surrender Extends Win Streak To Three in Delaware Sprint DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 20. Mrs. E. H. Augustus Surrender, an aptly named son of Diavolo Appomattox, extended his victory skein to three when he splashed over a track fetlock deep in mud to register by three and a half lengths in the six-furlong Neptune Purse, fifth and feature race on Delaware Parks mid-week program. Showing extreme fondness for the going, Surrender, fresh from a pair of victories at Suffolk Downs, was well handled by Al Snider and triumphed at the direct expense of Gustave .Rings Rings town, with Mrs. E. C. Salsburys Landlord next to report. Arthur E. Pew Jr.s Mercury Sun was fourth, with Larkmead Jane fifth and last. Much of the lustre was taken from the race when Mrs. M. R. Lewis Phone Me was a late withdrawal due to track conditions. This one remaining in the barn had much to do with surrenders price dropping to a paltry .70.
