Illinois Notes ARUNGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 20. The Arlington press box staff expressed their condolences when it was learned that Mrs. Catherine Bingem, mother-in-law of Mrs. Agnes Bingem, who works in the publicity department, passed away this morning. Mrs. Bingems remains are presently at Bradys Funeral Parlor on the South Side. Eight horses which will carry the Bo-banet Stables colors during the meeting were registered this morning. They are Alfios, Bobanet, Trojan Fleet, Marine Victory, Rollino, Ariel Song, Coral Star and Cant Catch Me. W. G. Sparks was an arrival at Hawthorne from Lexington, Ky., with four horses owned by Irvine Kort. R. Bridwell was an arrival from Fair-mount Park with Wasp Waist, M. R. Easy, Fudility, Honest Injun and Risky Hash. The filly Plucky Maid, Alfred G. Van-derbilts hope for the Princess Doreen Stakes Saturday, was an arrival from the East in charge of trainer Alf Holberg. The three-year-old will return East immediately after her race in the Princess Doreen. R. Donoso will fly here to ride the filly. Trainer William Crump reported that J. H. Rouses Three Dots, who finished last in the Clang Handicap here yesterday, did not suffer any type of injury. He added that the horse apparently did not like the track and when he encountered some interference he refused to extend himself. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. D. Shaffer, who have a good stable operating here, will come up from Lexington, Ky., Saturday for a prolonged visit. Tom F. Devereaux was an arrival from River Downs with horses owned by J. B. and J. R. Devereaux, J. J. Farrell and T. F. Calhoun. Included among them are Gay Captain, Gay Baby, Gay Set, Flying Ben, Geraldine F. and Big Boss. E. P. Fisher, F. H. Pieroni and C. Alle-sic," all veterans who are chair cases at the Vaughn General Hospital at Hines, HI., purchased the three-year-old filly Double Eagle and turned her over to Paul Larvis to train. They are veterans of many battles during the recent war.
