Success of Bradley Silks PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 9.— The late Col. E. R. Bradley was nationally famous for his many efforts, four of which were successful, to win the Kentucky Derby. Not so well known in the public mind in his efforts also to win the Preak-ness as well and in these efforts he was successful three times. Kalitan the only California-bred ever to win the Preakness, carried his colors in 1917. His next victory came in 1932 with Burgoo King. Bime-lech carried his silks for the third and last time in 1940.
