FOXY JACK was kept close up from the beginning and came between the leaders in the stretch run, then assumed command under pressure. PRETTY VALLEY was slow to settle in her stride, but improved her position and finished fast. PENETRATOR was sent through on the inside on the stretch turn, made a determined bid and tired. FACT FINDER was hustled along throughout, but faltered after assuming the lead. NAVY AWARD, on the outside all the way, tired at the end. OCEAN PLAY began slowly. HILL OF GOLD had no mishap.
