Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS - AT - WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., June 3. Jockey Logan Batcheller, currently leading rider of the country, returns to good standing on Saturday and will resume action in the saddle. Batcheller was suspended 10 days by the stewards here. Jockey Gene Pederson, who rode here the opening week of this meeting, is returning to this point from New York, where he saw action in the saddle at Belmont Park. Pederson will be affiliated at this track with A. R. Williams. Acting for J. Kress, trainer Ralph Sal-vino traded Golden Cross for Centaur Lass with H. R. Tyner. Tyner reported he plans to retire Golden Cross to stud at his farm near Minouk, 111. Trainer C. Scott disclosed here this morning that Bernzie, owned by Mrs. W. Tam-enbaum, has been fired about the ankles arid will be on the inactive list for a period. Eric Erickson purchased Char-Law at private terms today from Neva Meenan. O. Troioni is now trainer of Char-Law.
