Garden State Park Handle Up TRENTON, N. J., June 3.— Garden State Park showed an increase of ,062,537 for the 24-day meeting just completed over the same number of days in 1948. The state of New Jersey received ,114,510 this year as compared with ,019,065 in 1948. The total mutuel handle for the first of the two Garden State meetings was 8,981,548, with 34,444 more racing fans turning out for the sport.
