Gaige, of New York City, has purchased Peace Mission from Sid Jacobs and will ship the four-year-old colt to Suffolk Downs where he has been nominated for most of the leading handicap events including the Commonwealth Handicap a week from Saturday. Mr. Gaige plans to purchase a few more good thoroughbreds to add to his growing string of six.
