Javotte, Whirlaway Offspring, Goes in One Thousand Guineas NEWMARKET, England, May 3 Reuters. — Javotte, daughter of the great American race horse, Whirlaway, and bred in the United States by owner Robert Sterling Clark, will be in the field pf 18 fillies contesting the One Thousand Guineas over the mile distance here tomorrow. Javotte, whose dam, Galatea, won the One Thousand Guineas and Epsom Oaks for Clark in 1939, has not been to the post this season, but she is reported in excellent condition for her seasons debut. The Australian jockey Edgar Britt will be in the saddle. Belle of All, unbeaten British-bred daughter of Nasrullah, may rule favorite. Gordon Richards rides her. Marcel Boussac is challenging with two fillies, Bangui and Monrovia, both of whom will attract attention, while a choice of a coincidental nature is Chinese Cracker, following the success of the Chinese-owned Ki Ming in the Two Thousand Guineas. The Australian rider, Acobie Breasley, who rode Ki Ming, will ride Chinese Cracker.
