GALLANT JAKE was in hand while racing with the first flight on the outside, quickly put away the opposition when shaken up turning into the stretch and drew out to a long lead. PRINCESS GALA, far back early, rallied from the far turn, circled very wide through the stretch and /finished with a rush. PRICKLY was a prominent factor to the stretch, then faltered when headed by the winner. RADJMAHAL moved up fast after a half-mile, was steadied moving up behind the leaders, then lacked a closing rally. PADDOCK ACRES raced wide in the drive. ADONIS set the pace to the stretch, then was crowded while tiring. LAST SHOT faltered. BENVENUTO was outrun. MONMOUTH, always far back and under a loose rein, gave a dull effort.
