CROSS DUCHESS showed nothing. HARPIST reached the leaders from the outside on the final turn and weakened. BRIGHT OMEN was through early. TROUT LAKE was quite sore. The latter reached contention from the outside and weakened. BUDDY ACRES raced forwardly and faltered. ONE-0-CAT showed speed and flattened out. DR. WRIGHT, on the inside and in the first flight early, was not unduly punished while weakening. RAPT appeared to flounder early. BONNIE G. quit. ABBOTTSTOWN. hard pressed while holding a narrow advantage, held on gamely in the drive. MILLDALE was always prominent and fought it out willingly. ORIOLE, away tardily, was taken up sharply after being rushed into contention along the inside leaving the backstretch, again loomed a threat between horses in midstretch, but had nothing left. LARAN raced wide and failed to threaten. VAMANOS, in close quarters midway of the turn, lacked a closing rally. TAMALE flattened out early. PINK CHANCE assumed command on the final turn and weakened. GOLD-TON responded to pressure to engage the leaders after a mile, then faltered. WILD BULL quit, as did WASSERMATTER AND FORMAN.
