Va., May 3.— The man- agement of Waterford Park, the new track here, announced today that the stable area will not be opened until May 7, and cau- tioned horsemen not to ship until that date. Inclement weather delayed comple- tion of paving in the area, but assurances have been given by the contractors that the work will be completed next week. Waterford Park has 960 stalls, and these will be allotted only to horses. No stalls will be available for feed storage. Only stables having approved stall reservations will be admitted to the grounds. The inaugural meeting will be of 40 days, from May 19 to July 4.
