James Baird to Ride at BeuSah BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 3. — Jockey James Baird arrived from Rhode Island after completing a spring campaign at Lincoln Downs. Prior to that invasion he did his riding at Sunshine Park this past winter. Jimmy accounted for the first victory in his career in July, 1946, and over a period of four years in the saddle rode 800 winners, an average of 200 trips 1 to the winners circle a year. He was also j listed in the national riding standings for two years.
