Michigan Queen Dies LEXINGTON, Ky., May 22.— Jack Howard is still confined to his home at Rook-wood Farm following an illness but is showing marked improvement. He reports the death of the mare Michigan Queen, by Brown King— Michigan Girl, from an intestinal rupture. Michigan Queen was a half-sister to Minnelusa, T. M. Dorsett and Jewell Dorsett. Earlier this spring, she foaled a robust colt by Basilius II.
