Tex Wheeler Now Working On Small Statue of Citation HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 22. — Tex Wheeler, the sculptor, who did the Seabiscuit and George Woolf statues at Santa Anita is working on a statue of Citation. It is a miniature — three-sixteenths life size — and has been commissioned by Calumet Farm. Wheeler has just returned from San Ysidro where he has been finishing up a miniature of Noor. After completing his commissions on Noor and Citation, Wheeler will head for Lexington, Ky., to do a bronze of Menow for Hal Price Headley.
