Ak-Sar-Ben Notes AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Neb., May 22. Willard "Bill" Tunney, general manager of the Centenial Park race track located near Denver, was a visitor for the opening-day card. Accompanying Tunney was Tommy Tomilson, an official at the Denver track . Tunney conferred with many horsemen who will transfer their stables to Denver at the close of this meeting. M. C. Goodsell, Jr., checked in from Agua Caliente with the horses Barney M and Jim Glendale. George Adams, -well-known trainer in this area and also one of the top trainers on the Pacific Coast, registered a large public stable of 21 horses. Adams trains many horses for the Las Vegas sportsman and breeder, J. K. Houssels, and many which he bred at his farm in Colorado. Trainer A. J. Johnson arrived from Cali-fprnia with the stable owned by C. D. Alexander. The string consists of Kitty Lito, Baby Pebble, Just Et, Away Free and Just Free. "William Renn, trainer for Mrs. R.. C. Hodges, checked in with 10 horses from Pimlico. The Rhodes horses are Bennys Agent, Dollar King, Carry the Ball, Bam, Late Mate, Lucky Maiden, Safe at Home and Charley Foy. _ Owner and trainer W. R. Warren arrived with the horses Clyde M, Cartago Imp, Big Rip, Jedcat and Sklly Maid. George Bacher, Jr., registered The Gin-go, Deltoid, West Witch, Johline and Linda Jane. Bacher hails from Cincinnati, Ohio.
