Sarian; bred by J. A. Goodwin. IN GATE-6:09. OFF AT 6:09 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. BOUQUET BILLY, roused early to stay within striking distance of the pace, moved on the inside in the stretch to vie for the lead and was under stout pressure to outfinish MISS SUBLIME. The latter assumed command at once, established the pace most of the trip and just missed. EIGHT BELLS came up between horses in the stretch and closed with good energy. IM FRED rallied mildly in the closing stages. SILLY MINNIE lacked early speed. FIREY RED flattened out when put to pressure. FORT MONMOUTH went along close to the pace for a mile and weakened.
