Straight Face Breezes Five Furlongs in 1 :02 Suburban Winner Under Snug Hold Throughout Belmont Move BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 5. Greentree Stables Suburban win-ner,vStraight Face, indicated that mile and a quarter did him no harm when he breezed five furlongs in 1:02 this morning, under a snug hold all the way. The son of Count Fleet may next appear in the Sussex Handicpa at Delaware Park, or the seven-furlong Carter at Aqueduct. Greentrees three-year-old Card Trick continues to show progress in his training. The Flash Stakes winner went a handy seven furlongs in 1:27 this morning. It is possible that he may make his seasonal debut in the six-furlong Troubadour Handicap for three-year-olds on Tuesday. The same stables recent winner. Dream of Glory, went a handy mile in 1:42, going evenly all the way. E. P. Taylors Canadiana, who is eligible to Wednesdays Top Flight Handicap at a mile and a sixteenth, stepped a handy mile in 1:39, but appeared to tire slightly toward the end. She accomplished the fractions in :46, :59, 1:12 and 1:25. Native Dancers half-brother, Performance, who tired in his recent debut, worked six furlongs in 1:14 this morning in company with. Hail Fellow and had no trouble beating his stablemate, who was timed in 1:16. Hasty House Farms Mister Black and Inseparable, who may be seen in the Frere Jacques Handicap on the grass course next Saturday, breezed a slow six furlongs in 1:20 on the main track. Brookmeade Stables grass course specialist, Picador, worked a useful five furlongs in-1:01 in company with Country Club. The latter is an exceptionally handsome maiden four-year-old for whom several flattering offers were refused at Hialeah two winters ago. He later suffered a broken bone in his foot and was gelded while turned out.
