THISTLEDOWN SUSSEX CIRCLE Turned in a good effort here on Thursday, and appears ready for brackets against ,500 claimers going six furlongs. GOLD CHEST Closed with a fine burst of speed in his last race, and gives the indication that a mile and one -sixteenth may be needed rather than six furlongs. SOUTHERN CROSS Showed a good effort here in local debut; from one of the stronger units of the grounds. BNAI BRITH Apparently did not like the tMMyChmiynuj-M WAR FIGHTER Continued his Ascot-Park winning form with authority. This daughter of The Fighter should win another against a cheap field. CANNONEER Closed some ground in his last race, and appears ready for a winning race over a route of ground. JOLLY DOLLY Appears to be one of the better two-year-olds on the grourids; should come right back.
