STANS HELEN sprinted into a long lead, saved ground and held on gamely while tiring. DO-DO rallied to challenge the leader but was not good enough. CELT OERIN saved ground to better late position. HAL-FLEAM weakened after a mild challenge. FOX RUN had no mishap. JANTEMBER was never prominent. SAILING HIGH was through early. TOMEBAMBA retired steadily after six furlongs.
