Set Sights on New Castle DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 8. Several trainers of stakes stars contacted in New York reported that they are hopeful of running their charges in Delaware Parks 00,000 added mile and a quarter New Castle Handicap on July 5. These included: Eddie Hay ward, who saddled Cain Hoy Stables Cherokee Rose to win Belmonts Coaching Club American Oaks; Max Hirsch, who has such as Spinning Top and Riverina to shoot with and Bert Mulholland, who said Evening Out, George D. Wideners 1953 juvenile filly champion, is back in training and will have the New Castle in view if all goes well. Barring mishaps, indications are that the race will again attract a field of highest quality distaff performers and help to decide the championship among the lady horses.
