G., disposed of the latter,. then held on gamely to withstand NEWATE. The latter moved up boldly approaching the stretch, went to the extreme outside for the drive and closed strongly but could not overtake the top one. CHERRY BULL, on the inside for the stretch run, finished willingly. KATE G,, a sharp factor throughout, bore to the outside at the final turn, then could not get to the leaders when straightened for the drive. CHALLENGE WITT gave a fair effort and had no mishap. EXAGGERATED, caught in close quarters soon after the start, failed to recover, RICHARD raced greenly. TINY HEART, forced wide at the stretch turn, tired during the drive. LADY CUTUP began Sluggishly. MRS. G. began fast, raced with COL. CON to the stretch, then gave way. HAPPYS SAM was through early. GRAVEL BIN began alertly but dropped" out of serious contention Immediately after the start. BIT 0 WHIZ began fast, raced MOON LOVE Into defeat before entering the stretch, then faltered during the final furlong. BLEN SAND was ogtrun and had no excuse. NEPAL began sluggishly.
