Noble Impulse in Fatal Fall DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 8. Justin Funkhousers Noble Impulse, whose first crop of two-year-olds this season has shown excellent promise, was killed in a freak accident over the week end, according to trainer Frank Gall. The young Bull Dog Uvfra H. stud was being led from one paddock to another when he reared, fell heavily and instantly succumbed. Noble Impulse, who won Delawares Christiana Stakes in 1948 when racing for his breeder, Crispin Oglebay, the following season established a mile and a sixteenth record at Pimlico, then was third behind Capot and Palestinian in the Preakness after having been responsible orsifeedy early pace.
