Deadline for ThistleDown Cup And Ohio Derby Nominations THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 8. Lando Bressan, member of the official family here at ThistleDown, was at Belmont Park today to interest horsemen in the 5,000 Ohio Derby and 5,000 ThistleDown Cup, big features of this meeting, nominations for which close tonight at midnight. Yesterday Bressan was at Delaware Park on a similar mission. The Ohio Derby will be run on Saturday, July 10, and the Cup will be decided a week later. Also closing tonight are the Susan Stakes for two-year-old fillies. The Imp for fillies and mares three-year-olds and older and the Ohio Endurance for two-year-olds at six furlongs.
