Use Ring at Thistledown THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 8. The walking ring in front of the grandstand was used for the first time at the meeting this afternoon. Henceforth When weather permits trainers will give their final instructions to the riders and the horses will be mounted in full view of the fans. This proved quite popular with the spectators in the early races and many of them lined the rails to witness the procedure.
