Mrs. Markey Down With Pneumonia at Calumet Farm CHURCHILL DOWNS. Louisville. Ky., May 3. — It was announced this mcmingr that Mrs. Gene Markey, mistress of Calumet Farm, had come down with an attack of pneumonia at her 1,000-acre thoroughbred show-place in Lexington, and would not be present for this afternoons 84th running of the Kentucky Derby. .Mrs. Markeys Tim Tam was expected to be the .favorite in the race. No decision was announced this morning as to whether or not Admiral Markey would fly over to deputize for his wife "in" the winners circle, should her colt score. Thus the Calumet forces suffered a second serious blow in the pre-Derby period. Last Saturday, jockey Bill Har-tack, who was to ride Tim Tam, suffered a broken bone in the left leg.
