Clean Sweep for French French-trained horses made a clean sweep in Englands richest horse race, the King George VI. and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, last July, when four horses from across the Channel took the honors at As-sot Heath. Montaval, owned by the American sportsman Ralph B. Strassburger, took down the 4,050 prize to the winner, with 1 Al Mdbsoot the runner-up, Tribord third arid Saint Raphael fourth.
