j | i Brooks to Ride at Pimlico LAU-.EL, Md., May 3. — Steve Brooks, eighth jockey in racing history to ride 3,000 winners, will swing into action on Monday at Pimlico. The 36-year-old native of McCook, Neb., who now makes his home in Dallas, Texas, was an arrival at Laurel from Miami today with agent Harry Howard. Brooks, leading rider here last fall, topped the list of reinsmen at the recently completed Gulfstream Park session.
