Nine Harness Drivers Advised To Obtain Corrective Lenses SALEM, N. H., May 3.— In line with New Hampshires safety program for harness race drivers. Judge George Ginnell, chairman of the New Hampshire Racing Commission, today announced that nine drivers at the present harness meeting at Rockingham Park had been advised to obtain glasses with corrective lenses before their licenses would became valid. The action came as the result of a compulsory eye test for all drivers on the grounds. The program, believed to be the first of its kind in the United States, was-conducted at commission expense. Another driver was informed that his vision was beyond corrective measures and his license was not activated.
