Grant to Ride Mares Beau GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 2. — Trainer A. H. "Friendly" Bowen reports he has engaged jockey Howard Grant to ride Fred P. Meaghers Mares Beau in the 5,000 added Colonial Handicap here on May 16. Mares Beau, first 1959 stakes winner for the sire Your Host who is now standing at the Meadowview Farm, was victorious in the Capital Handicap and finished second in the Correction.
