Jockey Downs Extends Lead WHEELING DOWNS, Wheeling W. Va., May 2. — Jockey Willie Downs extended his lead last night in the jockeys race when he rode a triple, including both ends of the Daily Double, to bring his total victories to 12 for the first six days. Willie has already ridden a double, triple and quadruple winners since the meeting opened and appears to be well on his way to annex another riding championship at Wheeling Downs.
