Open Racing Secretarys Office At Washington Park Monday HOME WOOD, 111., May 2.— The racing secretarys office for the Balmoral-at-Washington Park spring meeting will open Monday with the arrival of Thomas E. "Tommy" Trotter, assistant racing secretary. Trotter will be joined before Balmorals opening-day, May 18, by racing secretary Charles J. McLennan and the others of the racing division staff. McLennan, meanwhile, reminded horsemen that nominations close Monday, May 11, to Balmorals opening-day headliner, the 5,000 added Tri -State Stakes for three-year-olds, and that the deadline for overnight entries this year will be 9 a.m. during the entire 97-day coordinated Arlington Park-Washington Park-Balmoral season. Washington Parks stable dining room, "The Washington Park Inn," also is in full operation under the new management of Richard Anderson, horsemen were advised.
