The latter came wide to make her belated bid and finished with good courage. MAN OF QUEST was used up duelling for the early lead. TEMPTS IMAGE tired after showing speed to the stretch. WET BACK engaged MARLESS from the outside soon after going a quarter mile, continued wide to duel with that one and gave way suddenly in the late stages. FANTASTIC had his speed, raced slightly wide and also just missed. LUCKY LENA saved ground to no avail. LITTLE FITZ lost too much ground.
