Michael Brosnan, Exercise Rider, Critically Injured SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, HI., May 7. — Michael Peter Brosnan, a 26-year-old exercise rider, was critically injured here this morning: during training: hours. He suffered severe lacerations and a possible skull fracture, and physicians have asked that his family be immediately notified. He was astride one of J. D. Mikels two-year-olds, Mikes Missile, when the colt suddenly bolted from a shadow. It is reported that the skull cap he was wearing: was badly dented. Brosnan was taken to St. Anthonys Hospital in Chicago. Brosnan is believed to have been born and raised in England, where he was said to have been a rider in competition.
