Campanella to Head Dodger Rooting Party at Hollywood HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 7. — Former Brooklyn Dodger, Roy Campanella Friday will head a Los Angeles Dodger party at Hollywood Park which will be "hosted by president Mervyn LeRoy and he will crown the winner of the sixth race, which is named in his honor. The Hollywood Turf Club will be host to 1,000 youngsters of the Dodgers Knothole Club at the Dodger-Yankee benefit game tonight. On "behalf of Hollywood Park, president Mervyn LeRoy and general manager James Stewart recently sent a check for ,510 to the Dodger organization as a means of both providing free seats for young fans and also contributing to the Campanella fund. Dodger prexy Walter OMalley, general manager Buzzie Bavisi and other Dodger officials are expected to be on hand at the Hollywood opening tomorrow and it is anticipated that OMalley will crown the win-• ner of the Hollywood Premiere Handicap.
